Giulia is the re-edition of the famous model 877 by Gianfranco Frattini, dedicated to the wife of his great Master Gio Ponti. The softness that distinguishes the bergère armchair – wide and deep, with a high backrest and side headrests – is translated into sharp, geometric lines that define a continuous shell, with winged armrests, resting on the essential wooden frame. The structural elements thus become part of the furniture's aesthetics, as seen in the detail of the exposed wooden screws.

Tacchini reissues Giulia, the armchair designed by Gianfranco Frattini in 1957—a modern reinterpretation of the classic bergère. Dedicated to the wife of his mentor, Gio Ponti, Giulia blends sharp geometric lines with the enveloping softness of the seat, embodying timeless elegance.
“Frattini was a refined figure in Italian design, able to combine precision and warmth in every detail. It is an honor to breathe new life into one of his masterpieces, welcoming it into our family of iconic furnishings.”

"In my design language, the dimension of memory holds an important place—tied to certain expressions of the past, to the care and love for materials crafted with precision and discipline."
