UNI EN ISO 14001
The standard UNI EN ISO 14001 is a certifiable standard, i.e. it is possible to obtain, from an accredited certification body operating according to certain rules, certificates of conformity to the requisites they contain. Certification according to ISO 14001 is not compulsory but is the result of a voluntary decision by the company which decides to set up its own environmental management system. It demonstrates that the certified organisation has a management system capable of keeping the environmental impact of its activities under control and systematically seeks to improve it in a coherent, effective and above all sustainable way.
