Stylecraft joins Saturday Indesign

Stylecraft, one of the best Tacchini resellers, has been providing furniture of original, contemporary design for 60 years. This year they have been involved in Melbourne’s Saturday Indesign event for 2019 on June 22: a day full of design experiences for all who attended.

Stylecraft’s recently renovated Melbourne showroom with the lower levels designed by Hassell, the upper ones designed by Geyer.

Right from the very beginning, Stylecraft has been involved with Saturday Indesign. “We’ve been represented in every location that the event has been to – Singapore, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne. We’ve always been a strong supporter and we can’t wait to once again show clients, and new faces, the ‘Stylecraft Hospitality’ that we’re known for” shares Tony Russell, Stylecraft’s brand director.

At its core, Saturday Indesign is about recognising design from here and the world. It’s a true “celebration of design” and as Tony understands from experience, it’s “one of the few times that the industry comes together as one.”

During the event there was the official presentation of a selection of Tacchini collection, displaying in their showroom not only the latest icons Julep, the table Soap or the rug Rituale by Umberto Riva – distributed by Tacchini Edizioni – but also some of the most well known products such as the armchairs Kelly C and Agnese, the sofa Quilt, the tables Split and Cage, and the vases Bubble.

Saturday Indesign ended on a high note with a pulsating party at the stunning Stylecraft showroom. Singer, songwriter and DJ Boy George kept the mood going, belting out dancefloor classics. It was the perfect end to an incredible day – one for the history books!
