Joaquim
Designed by Giorgio Bonaguro
The Joaquim side tables are inspired by the softness of Brazilian design from the 1940s to the 1960s, from which they also take the fundamental principles of eco-sustainability and creative recycling of production waste.

For the Joaquim side tables, Giorgio Bonaguro looks to the furniture designed for the modernist architecture of Niemeyer, Costa, Vilanova Artigas, and Bo Bardi. The geometric, linear forms of the tables pay tribute to the simple yet elegant lines of Joaquim Tenreiro – considered one of the fathers of modern tropical design – while the recycling of production waste, in line with contemporary principles of creative recycling and eco-sustainability, is evident in their construction, from the metal frame to the marble tops and bases.
