A Light and Permeable Textile Architecture
Tacchini presents itself at Salone del Mobile 2026 with a stand that defines space without actually constructing it.
The concept of the 20th-century home is transformed into a suspended textile architecture inspired by the idea of a nomadic encampment: a light, temporary and open environment in which interior and exterior intertwine, and design gradually reveals itself.

"Much of the space is defined by suspended, lightweight and semi-transparent fabrics that evoke the imagery of the tent and create a soft, permeable scenography. This approach allows for a significant reduction of built structures and the use of reusable materials, transforming the installation into a light and reversible system. The stand thus becomes a space suspended between architecture and scenography: a contemporary tent where the environment expands and opens up, transforming into a domestic landscape for Tacchini’s collections."
Matteo Fiorini, Studio LYS

"We conceived the stand as a journey through different atmospheres, to express the multifaceted character of Tacchini and the versatility of its furnishings, capable of engaging with diverse contexts. Through contrasts, references and contemporary accents, we worked with warm materials and a variety of textures – from glossy to matte – combining classical and modern elements into a fluid and coherent whole."
Valentina Cameranesi, Studio Cameranesi-Pompili

"The stand appears as a suspended veil of fabric: light, permeable, temporary. It does not construct, but defines; it does not constrain, but frees. Interior and exterior merge, and each piece becomes part of a fluid landscape, adaptable to any architectural context. A sustainable structure that invites people to imagine, move through and inhabit space without boundaries, where Tacchini’s design reveals itself in its purest essence: versatile, elegant, timeless."
