Bread Console
Designed by Faye Toogood
The Bread console originates from an everyday gesture: slicing two ciabatta loaves and stacking the slices to create a structure with soft, organic shapes. It is part of the Bread and Butter collection created in collaboration with Faye Toogood.

Bread and butter are the building blocks of everyday happiness, and the inspiration behind the new collaboration with Toogood. At the heart of the studio’s design process is a hands-on approach that values material and model-making. The Bread console was created by cutting two ciabattas and balancing the slices. Sculpted in ash, the console celebrates the warmth and tactility of wood, while the maple inlay, dyed in a delicate primrose shade, evokes a slice of buttered bread.
