Core reinterprets the bar table as a central element of contemporary living, restoring its relational role as a place to gather, converse and wait: an open experience where function and conviviality coexist with memory and transformation.
Core is not simply an accessory, but a presence that encourages sharing and informality. Tacchini’s project revisits the memory of domestic bar tables, adapting it to the fluid environments of the contemporary home without imposing specific uses or postures. A low table that opens and reveals itself: the surface becomes a support plane, while the volume transforms into a container where objects and everyday rituals find their place. The opening mechanism, integrated into the design, is natural and intuitive, leaving space for experience and interaction.
