Sancarlo
Designed by Achille Castiglioni
Sancarlo is an armchair with a strong personality, an icon of 20th-century design that breaks down the seat into a series of cushions that offer curved support to the different parts of the body.

A re-edition of a great classic by Maestro Achille Castiglioni, Sancarlo is a treatise on ergonomics, functionality, and geometry, revisiting the idea of the Sanluca designed with his brother Pier Giacomo. The seat, available in both armchair and sofa versions, consists of a linear curved tube structure on which several padded volumes are placed: the concept, innovative for its time, is now made even more effective by the padding that changes density depending on the area of the body it needs to support.
